Using Avid MC 8.6.1 on Mac, Terminal apparently launches with Application Manager at startup.  There are no user settings that include any start up launch items. I've repeatedly checked for that possibility. It appears to be Avid related since I made the update to 8.6.1.  Any help?  Thank you.

The Terminal flashes in Windows 10 too; don't know if it is called by the AppMan or Background services, or even the video card, but I can see it popping up and suddenly disappear. Do You mean that it sticks in Your system?

Thanks for your reply. To this day Terminal continues to occur at every startup. Terminal continues to run unless I close it.

Thank you for your reply.  Unfortunately Terminal runs at every startup.  I can quit out of it but I'd love to know why it is launching at all.  Mac OSX 10.95.  Mac Pro 8 core. Avid 8.6
