Next week we have an edit coming in, the rough cut is done by the director in Premier. We will be finishing off the edit in AVID. 

As it stands, I think I have the correct steps right:

Import/AMA link all footage into AVID, organise into bins etc.

Export AAF from Premier, import this into AVID

AVID will then link the footage in the bins to the appropriate clips from the sequence.

Is that correct?

I'd also like to mention that the footage was shot on RED Dragon.

We are going to have to transcode all of this footage...
