    MC 8.3 AMA-Links and UNC path

    Hi,
    anyone else notived that since 8.3 it is impossible to LINK AMA-Files on UNC pathes?  

    even old projects wouldn´t show up the media stating the media is missing - which it is not.

    Even revealting file results in an error. Copy and paste the verry same path out of the bin info field to an explorer windows show - so suprise here my ama files just where they are *doh

     

    But Avid 8.3 doesn´t linke them anymore.

    Any ideas Avid?

    Possibly this issue applies to 8.2.2 also - 8.2 OK.
