Upgraded to 8.3 and now i can't export a quicktime single field. I tried multi codecs, projects, and on 2 different 8.3 systems. The Quickitme always comes out with fields in them.

Also tried the same sequence on a 7.x system and it expoerted just fine single field.

Avid Media COmposer 8.3

Imac 27inch late 2012

3.4 GHZ Intel i7 (quad)

16gig ram

Nvidia Geforce GTX 680MX 2gig

What's the format of your project and how are you setting single field output?

Clicking the Single field button on the front page of the export tool. We have tried both the same export settign from 7.x and made a new one in 8 (and on 2 different user systems) 

What is the source codec and what codec are you exporting?  I'll try to reproduce it at my end (and anybody else who wants to join in is welcome as well).

Just curious - why would you want to export single field? You lose half your vertical resolution doing that. I'm assuming its for some kind of preview purpose..

Footage is 20:1 NTSC, we've exported both h264 and ProRez both came out with fields.

Single field is for approval postings on the web, we don't want the interlacing lines in the video playback for clients.

We have also uninstalled and reinstalled and same issue. Again works fine on a 7.0.4 system.

Update. Problem is still there

Installed 8.3 on a 3rd system. Started a new project with new media, which was AMA'd in and then trancoded to 14:1 Standared def. Then opened media in a 30i project, exported and still getting fields in my single field quicktimes settings. Any update on this?

Also tested it on a 4th system running Os X 10.10 still same issue.
