hey there Avid'ers...anyone know of a good tutorial on 'stepping in and out' of clips?
Thank you.
Not that I know of. Is one really needed? Park your playhead on the clip you need to step into...make the track it is on active, and then step in. The arrows to step in and out are on the bottom left of the timeline...the up and down arrows. So if you layer effects, you can step in to adjust them (or they will also appear in the EFFECT LIST if you open the EFFECT MODE), or you can adjust the footage inside a nest. Then step out. Fairly simple.
You can check out Kevin P. McAuliffe tutorials on MC in Creative Cow... In various of those tutorials he does extensive use of stepping in and out
You are everything wrong with the community. You literally said "Step in" when someone asked how.

The posts you are referring to were made 9 years ago. As there have been no other posts on this since then, it seems fair to assume the OP found the answer.
The OP asked for Tutorials, and was referred to the Kevin P. McAuliffe tutorials (which are excellent).
