I just downloaded the BCC 8.2 installer from Boris FX this morning, just in case anyone is interested.

Any special Instalation Instructions?

uninstall previous version first.

Sorry Wim,

I also should have asked for Release Information, as I remember, was provided with previous versions.

Version 8.1 works here without problems. So what reason should I have to update?

Just hold on before Avid oficially says OK to BCC 8.2... (any day now)

But to answer you question... :

More Real-Time Performance for Avid. Nearly all BCC AVX filters can now be rendered in real-time in Avid editing and finishing systems.

I did an uninstall of version 8.1 Then I did the install from the exe file I've downloaded from the BorisFX site (not through Avid's site).

All OK and first test did run OK.
