6 months later Larry is still helping me solve Avid issues through his many insightful posts on this forum. His good works live on.

Same here. I recently did a seach of the forum looking for a solution to a particular problem. The search results displayed 12 posts...7 of them were by Larry.
I have a fantastic editing assistant. He stays by my side when I edit...doesn't talk too much...and thinks I'm a genius! Check him out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQVkYaaPO6g
Ive just returned to the forums after a few years and was sad to read this thread. Whenever I saw Larry's name at the end of a reply, to many of my oh so bumbling questions, I knew I was getting some solid advice.
Graham,
I miss him each and every day! He was a great guy and a selfless person - no one can replace him ever in our hearts!

I just had the exact same experience. I had heard about Larry's passing through the Facebook Avid Users' group, but it didn't fully connect until I came back to these forums — back in the context of seeing his name by so many excellent answers and suddenly it all clicked...exactly who he was.
By reading some of the posts on this thread, I also learned of sep's passing several years before, which is equally saddening.
I'm at a complete loss for words.
You only miss someone a LOT when is gone and you know that you never going to see again.

Its been a very long time since i was here, but I just saw this news. I wondered if there was anything online about Larry, as he helped me and countless others over the years. I found this - it may already be here on this thread but for those who may have missed it...

He was such a class act and so very kind, helpful and patient.
