UK broadcasters agreed on a standard format for file delivery recently http://www.digitalproductionpartnership.co.uk/technical-standards/ . One of the issues I have is that there aren't many applicable workflows addressing the final file delivery. The final file should be an AVC Intra 100 wrapped as an AS11 MXF.
Has anybody come across this yet ?
There are a number of solutions in the pipeline. the DPP have their own tool in development (we've played with it)
It's not just the AV data that has to be right but the metadata as well so it's a complex delivery regime.
I made a feature request a while back for AS-11 support to help meet just this need.

Hi Pat,
I have used the dpp meta software and filled out the fields, with some being filled automatically , but one of the issues is creating the AVC Intra 100 file / outputing as an MXF file as the software will only add metadata to an MXF file.
The problem now is that people are asking to have files delivered in this way and it feels like we are kind of doing it adhoc rather than creating a workflow that reflect the whole point of the dpp standardisation.
Cheers,
Daniel
