i'm importing a mov file in DnxHD 175x, 23.96 into Symphony 6 and it's taking over an hour for a 90 minute film.  The file is already in DnxHD so avid only needs to rewrap to an MXF container, how can this take sooooo long.  The file was outputted from Premiere CS6.  Any idea ???

Have you tried if ama link and consolidate will run faster

For fast import, video levels need to be 709 and not RGB, not sure if premiere allows it. and no alfa

Project and import settings have to perfectly match the properties of the imported file for fast import to happen.
