Help Help Help.  I have upgraded to DS 11. I have imported an AFE from both MC 6.0 and MC 6.0.1.1 and they both will not transfer the Timewarps with speed changes correctly. Am I the only one haveing this problem?

The Conform Guidelines for Avid DS report Timewarp effects in the "B" rank support level, and that means that not everything is guaranteed to conform fully.

On Media Composer, make sure that the anchor point is set at the beginning of the timewarp or that can be enough to break the conformed effect in DS.

The OP has pointed out one of the fallacies of that statmement.  "Fully Conform" is a pretty strong statement.

No, you are not the only one and I am sad to see it hasn't been fixed in v11. A temporary fix for us is to open the sequence in Composer 4.05 and export from there. 5.5 would probably work fine as well.

We're also having this issue. MC6 to DS11 breaks the timewarp. Very frustrating considering MC4 to DS 10.3 worked just fine. PLEASE fix this.

The upcoming 11.0.2 update release will address the Advanced Keyframe changes in Media Composer that broke Timewarp conforms in DS.

Avid DS 11.0.2 availability will be announced on the Avid Community when released.

Yes 11.0.2 with exporting from MC6.5 Fixed the bad timewarp transfers. All is good now.

One issue reamains with the conforms. If the MC AFE has any timewarps that have cuts as transitions then there is a black frame left in between clips. This is happening in 720P projects from MC to DS. Any Idea when this will be addressed.

Can you open a support ticket with Avid and provide some AAF or AFE samples to help reproduce this issue?
