Re: Shortcut to rename / accept renamed clip or sequence in a bin

Hey, I just tried this and it works great. Here's the macro that worked:

Hey Aren! That's cool stuff. Great to know there's a workaround but to have to pay for software to get this done? Don't get be wrong I'm all up for scripts, macros and automation. But as a Windows user the all powerful F2 key will enter rename mode on pretty much any file or folder. Really hoping Avid support it in a future release! Good stuff though! Thanks for showing us. Looks at keyboard Maestro for lots of other uses too so might just buy it myself.

Re: Shortcut to rename / accept renamed clip or sequence in a bin

Ah this wouldn't be feasible for me as I wouldn't be able to download it on the computers at university. Thought I'd hold out until MC2019 but looks like it still hasn't been addressed. What a shame...

    Thanks anyway

Maybe it's because assistant editors don't have a lobby and are not high enough in the hirarchy. But they shouldn't forget, that assistant editors can become editors.

Lads... they've only gone and done it. I jumped for joy the other day when I realised.
