Research told me that the IMX codec was in the MC QT codec PE installer.  As many others seem to say, when installed a PE directory is made but it seems to contain nothing?  Is the ONLY answer to buy a commercial codec?

Are you looking for an opportunity to capture to IMX codec or to playback IMX-files? Talking about MC or another standalone PC?

Just trying to import a short title sequence which is QT mpg imx into Avid.  A commercial codec works (watermarked) but the PE installer appears to do nothing.

The Calibrated Q codec works fine on replay and import into Avid but the Avid PE imx codec plays audio with a white (blank) screen.  Despite making an empty installation folder the PE codec CMAvidMPEG2IMXCodec.avx is installed the Avid codec folder.
