Does anyone knows which is the company behind Jacobs espresso?
I think it's Danesi (which is my favorite espresso brand) because the taste is as strong
as Danesi's and nowhere near the velvet Illy taste (that I don't like too much personally) but I am not sure.
Any clues?
I am using Krups XP2070.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hello George,
I am surprised that Laptopeditor hasn't been able to give you any help on this one
I am sorry I can't. I just use a standard coffee "maker".

You are one of the few with humor on the boards.
I despise what they say about British humor.
But George, I love the velvety taste of Illy, although with todays rates I am not sure how much longer I can afford it.
I use a mini Gaggia set to export 709. ;)

George it is not "British humor" it is "British humour"

So true Andrew.
As a person who lived in Sweden for 32 years, I feel I know a good coffee when I taste one.
Nothing beats a good cup of swedish coffee (well, maybe Finnish coffee does)
I get coffee sent from Sweden on a regular basis.
Just finished a cup just now . . . . .
You can't compare Danesi Blend or others with Instant Coffee!
From the aroma alone you can judge the quality.
George,
Here is a little on Danesi Classic
"Classic is a coffee blend composed of selected Brazilian and African Arabica as well as the finest West and East African Robust cultivated at high altitudes. This blend is particularly recommended for preparing an espresso with strong taste and an intense body simultaneously capable of maintaining a soft flavour and pleasant aftertaste, featuring marked notes of dry fruits."

By the way I enjoyed the coffees I had in Athens almost as much as those in Istanbul.
