Hi
Recently I purchased the Media Compser 5.5 update on the Avid web store, and got the free upgrade to 6.0. I was able to download and use 6.0, but its not showing up in my products in my account (only 5.5 is).
Also, I want to use the 3rd party programs it comes with like Avid FX. From what I read I was supose to be issued a serial number by e-mail, but I wasn't. Again, nothing is showing up in my account.
I contacted Avid sales, and they told me to contact tech support, but I can't find an e-mail for that.
Any suggestions?

I found that page, and it says
"Purchases made on the Avid Webstore:
Customers who purchase new systems or upgrades through the Avid Store will be issued serial numbers via email and can be access in "My Account" at http://store.avid.com"
but I wasn't e-mailed, and they are not in my account. I was hoping for an e-mail address, but I guess I'll have to call them

Calling them should work. If they give you any trouble, post back here and we'll get it figured out.
Have you tried this:
Customers who purchased Media Composer 5.5, Symphony 5.5 or Newscutter 9.5 between October 15 and November 14 2011 who qualify free editor upgrades via the “Protect” program are also entitled to 3rd Party Production Suite software.
These customers can request their 3rd party serial numbers by emailing videoreghelp@avid.com with "Production Suite License Request" in the subject and providing their Name, Email, Phone Number, and System ID(s) in the body of the email.

They should have put that information in the confirmation when I upgraded. Don't know why they bury it.
